"Don't Fear the Blogger"
Slate has this online essay. And while we're on the subject, Rep. John Conyers, Jr. (D-Mich.) says "Bloggers Have Rights Too." But apparently not the right to post at will, at least if you're dependent on Blogger. Had a heck of a time trying to post today. Things seem to be working now.
Comments:
The Blogger help staff is even confessing to some "instability". Very painful, but you get what you pay for. I may spring to move to more reliable software and hosting, if I can overcome my intertia.

Nice blog -- do you get business from it?

I sometimes consider switching to Typepad, but I hate to give up my web address now that so many people visit on a regular basis. As for business, of course I welcome referrals and co-counseling offers in almost any type of class action case. It would be great to join forces with some of my readers. So far, because of the blog, I've raised my profile, reporters call me for quotations, and I'm invited to speak at seminars (more on that in later posts), so life is quite rosy.
