Depublication sought in Baxter v. Salutary Sportsclubs, Inc.
Thanks to the reader who informed me that a depublication request has been filed in Baxter v. Salutary Sportsclubs, Inc., ___ Cal.App.4th ___ (Sept. 28, 2004). In Baxter, the Court of Appeal denied an attorneys fees request under Code of Civil Procedure section 1021.5, holding that the plaintiffs' UCL claim, while successful, conferred only a "miniscule" benefit on the general public.
